Yesterday we took the kids to the Natural History Museum in London. It’s been a long time since I last visited the museum and, of course, the dinosaur exhibit was high on the agenda. The above photo is of a Stegosaurus, situated near the step-free entrance to the museum (you can view the original by clicking on the image above). Whilst not as awesome in scale as Dippy, it’s a pretty impressive first exhibit as you enter. This exhibit is particularly significant as it is considered to be the world’s most complete Stegosaurus skeleton ever found. Having wanted to be a paleontologist or an archaeologist right up to late adolescence, I couldn’t help but consider what might have been had I made slightly different choices when I was at school…
